Ben was Healed From Drug Addiction

I grew up attending the Revival Fellowship with my parents, hearing the Bible stories and promises. When I was 12 years old I prayed to God that he would give me his Holy Spirit. I miraculously spoke in tongues and was then baptised by full immersion, just as Jesus was. Mixing with the wrong people and not really understanding what God had given me, I stopped attending church and found myself in a life of drug abuse and crime. In my early 20’s I developed an addiction to Methamphetamine leading to suffering severe anxiety, paranoid psychosis and profound hopelessness. In desperation,
I called out to God for help and started praying in tongues, the language he had given me 15 years previously when I received the Holy Spirit. I also started reading my Bible and recalling the promises with a renewed appreciation. My prayer was answered and my addictions stopped with no withdrawal symptoms. I started attending church once more, this time grateful for what God has given me and the opportunity to start again.

I am now happily married to my childhood sweetheart, working and raising a family, something that seemed impossible in the life that I had fallen into as a teenager. I am so thankful and owe so much to God for turning my life around.
