Hannah Was Healed From Learning Difficuties

One of the most amazing miracles that occurred in my life happened in primary school. All through Reception to Year 7 I had a lot of trouble with maths and English.

I spelt words the way they sounded: e.g., “whole” became “hol”. Silent letters didn’t exist for me. With maths I could add but had a lot of difficulty with division, multiplication and subtraction.

I was brought up knowing about the Bible and the importance of the Holy Spirit, which I received when I was seven years old with the evidence of speaking in tongues. We believe in the power of prayer through the Holy Spirit, and so my parents prayed about my school work as they were worried about my future.

I started high school and everything turned around in a matter of moments. Maths came easily to me and I could spell a lot better. The Lord changed me so much, to the point where I was top of my class in both maths and English.

It was only through God that I changed so suddenly: I couldn’t have improved in my own strength. The Lord continued to help me. To got into the university course I wanted to do I needed a score of 72, but I only got 65. I prayed about it and received a letter saying I was accepted into the course. There’s no way I should have been accepted as others who had a score of 70 didn’t get in; but I did. 

I am now a teacher! Praise the Lord.
