Anne was Healed from Paralysis and Bronchiectasis and Brian was Healed of Glaucoma

My wife was in the Royal Adelaide Hospital paralysed from the neck down when I first heard the Word of God in 1971. I agreed that the Revival Fellowship could pray for her; we had everything to gain and nothing to lose. Two days later, my wife was out of bed walking. The doctors were absolutely amazed that it happened that quickly. Ann believed in God but didn’t know where He was, and I was an atheist. After getting out of hospital Ann went to a meeting and was thrilled to hear all the wonderful things in the Bible. Soon we were baptised by full immersion, filled with the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, and we both knew that God was real.

At the age of five, Ann had whooping cough and pneumonia, which damaged her lungs. By the time she was 11 years old it had turned into bronchiectasis. We had a letter from the Royal Adelaide Hospital, to bypass local doctors, to go straight to chemists to get antibiotics etc. She was told to do postural drainage, twice a day, for the rest of her life. Over the years she managed by sleeping with the foot of the bed raised to drain her lungs each night. One night we prayed at home to ask the Lord for a healing of the bronchiectasis, and Ann has been completely healed from that day on.

At the next visit to the doctor he said that if he hadn’t known Ann’s history he would have said that there had never been anything wrong with her lungs. We really thank the Lord for His healing of that problem, and it was great to put the foot of the bed down!

About 4 years after coming to know the Lord I was tested and found to have glaucoma; a doctor and specialist confirmed this. I told the specialist that the Lord would heal me. His answer was that medical science could not heal glaucoma. The following week, after having prayer, he examined me again and my eyesight was perfect. The specialist wrote “Healed by prayer” on my medical card. We give the Lord all the glory. He has led us, guided us and always been there, meeting every need. We just can’t wait for His return.
