Jill Experiences Peace of Mind

I heard about Jesus while listening to a conversation between my Mother and my Aunty. My Mother had been religious and now my Aunty was confidently telling her that she was not saved and needed to be born again to know for sure that she was saved.

My Aunty said that Jesus was coming back to earth and she needed to be ready and showed her the scriptures in the Bible. I heard the urgency in my Mother’s voice when she asked questions and realised that this was an important matter. I listened some more and realised that I wanted to meet Jesus in the air too and asked if I could be baptised and receive the Holy Spirit. I was so thrilled to be told that I could. I was baptised that day and received the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, a couple of months later.

I talked to girl friends at school and realised that life for others was very different; they often had a sense of hopelessness. Whereas I could just pray about difficult situations and Jesus would make good things come out of the difficulties.

I have seen many amazing changes in my life by trusting Jesus. I have been healed and seen healings in other people. I have seen a young girl’s life changed from alcohol addiction to studying at University and being employed.

I have seen many amazing “coincidences” where I know that Jesus has intervened in my life to make life better. But best of all is the peace I feel knowing when Jesus comes I will meet Him.
