Lily has Peace and Comfort

I heard the Gospel from my now-husband and after going to a few meetings, I indicated at the altar call I wanted to get baptised. During prayer with Revival Fellowship leaders and other people who were praying I experienced my first miracle: receiving the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I was baptised shortly afterward. That’s an experience I’ll never forget!

I came to know the Lord on the 14th of June 2009 and at that time, my only son lived with his father in Australia. Like all mothers, I worried about my son – if he was eating well or being looked after properly. But, on the day I got baptised I felt this weight being lifted off my shoulders. I was content and was filled with joy because I knew everything was going to be OK from now on.

A few weeks after my baptism, I had a call from my son’s father telling me that my son was coming to visit me. This was a huge blessing because I got to see my son only once a year, but from then on I saw my son at least twice a year.

I also never thought I’d ever get married but the Lord has blessed me with a wonderful husband and two more sons. Praise His precious name.
