Norma was Healed From a Degenerative Eye Disease

I’d been wearing glasses for some years and in 1985 I went to have my routine eye checkup. I was dismayed to learn that I had a degenerative eye disease and that I only had two years’ sight left. I had been baptised and Spirit filled since 1978 and from then on my life had been quite different and very fulfilled. When I got home I thought “No, the Lord’s going to heal this”. So I got down on my knees and sought His help – not a very long prayer but very earnest - and as I said “Amen” I knew with absolute certainty that he had graciously answered me. From that day to this year I never had to change the prescription in my glasses.

In 1988, I suffered several attacks of renal colic which were extremely painful. X-rays showed that I had a large stone in my right kidney which the doctor said would require an operation. Again, I put it to the Lord and He melted it away in the prayer time over a Sunday night meeting. Praise the Lord I have had no reoccurrence since. I thank Him and praise Him for all that He has done for my life over the last 35 years.
