Carol Was Healed From Asbestosis

In June I caught a cold which hung on and I developed breathing difficulties. I was diagnosed with pneumonia. I was seeing my doctor weekly and having weekly x- rays, but I was not improving. My husband Phillip had to rush me to hospital Saturday evening, feeling very sorry for myself. On the Tuesday a pleura tap was performed on both lungs, the resulting fluid was sent away for testing. I had a cat scan and a lump was found in my breast. The results of the test came back showing cancer cells in the fluid.

I was told that I had asbestosis. I had no idea how I could have contracted it but I had to go to the Breast Clinic for further tests and a biopsy. Later Kathrine, my daughter who is a nurse, informed me that with what they thought was breast cancer and asbestosis, I would have had only three months to live. Praise the Lord the lump in the breast was found to not be cancerous.

Throughout the whole time the Lord gave me such complete peace, which was seen by all. I never doubted that the Lord could deliver me from what looked to be a death sentence. At every stage I just prayed to the Lord, my prayer being “This is too big form me to deal with, I hand it all over to you.” I told the Lord that whatever way He wished to handle the situation was fine by me - that I was ready to meet Him - but that I did not really want to put the family through the anguish of another death and that I would love to see the grandchildren grow up. I ended my prayer with the words “not what I want but your will”.

When another pleura tap was performed the results came back and there were no cancer cells present. I really praise and thank the Lord that He delivered me.
