Jenny was Healed From a Stroke

A few years ago I had heart surgery to repair a valve in my heart as well as to have my heart put back into rhythm. A majority of the surgery went well, however when the doctors shocked my heart back into rhythm they accidentally killed the bottom of my heart!

I was very sick for 3 weeks, so it was decided to put a pacemaker into my heart as it was not going to repair on it’s own. The morning after the pacemaker was put in, my daughter Lisa came to visit and I told her that I wasn’t feeling well at all. As she sat down beside me, my words began slurring and I had a stroke right in front of her. Lisa ran to the alert the nurses and to ring the pastor from our church. As it happened, our church was having a prayer and fast on that very day, so they were able to have prayer for me straight away. I was unconscious and woke up in the middle of a CT scan. I was told that I’d had a massive stroke. I was paralysed on my left side and had lost the sight in my left eye. I was told I would need brain surgery, but first they needed to wait for the blood clot in my brain settle so they could redo the CT scan in order to pinpoint where it was exactly. I was praying to myself saying ‘no Lord, I am one of yours, I can’t handle any more’.

50 minutes later I was back in the CT scan machine while all of the doctors were behind a screen watching. All of a sudden I felt my left side go warm, my left eye regained sight and I was totally healed on the CT scan bed. The doctors were so amazed to watch the blood clot burst into smithereens right in front of their eyes! One doctor who had dealt with strokes for many years said he had never seen anything like that happen before.

I know it was the amazing power of the Lord that healed me. I am so grateful for what he has done for me. The power of prayer is amazing, knowing that all the Spiritfilled brothers and sisters were praying for me at this time is very humbling. I am so grateful for their prayers. I truly praise God for all he has done in my life, including this miracle!
